Gaming supervisors take charge of gaming operations and workers in an assigned area. Circulating among the table games, they make sure that all stations and games are taken care of for each shift. It also is common for supervisors to interpret the casino’s operating principles for members. Supervisors could also plan and organize activities for guests staying in their casino hotels.

Gaming supervisors must have clear leadership qualities and above average communication skills. Despite their educational background, however, most supervisors gain experience in other wagering occupations before moving into supervisory positions because an understanding of games and casino operations is quite essential for these workers.
